Description

We are currently seeking 2 land and development engineers for fixed-term employment throughout 2026, with the possibility of extension depending on upcoming financial decisions.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about community development and wants to work closely with other community builders. You will be part of a fantastic team consisting of five MEX engineers. The number of positions depends on financial decisions made. Together with planning architects, building permit officers, GIS and surveying engineers, you will be part of the planning and building unit, where we work closely together to influence community development in a long-term and sustainable way.

Responsibilities

With us, you will have the opportunity to work with the municipality's strategic land planning, prepare development calculations, and establish agreements - such as lease agreements, easement agreements, purchase agreements, development agreements, and civil law agreements.

You will also participate in the development of detailed plans, conduct negotiations, and respond to referrals. You will also prefer certain types of cases to various political committees.

The work is performed both independently and together with other community builders and involves many contacts with property owners, community members, developers, and companies.

Qualifications

You are strategic, driven, and see the big picture for the municipality. It is important that you have initiative and decision-making ability. We expect you to be meticulous and structured.

We are looking for someone with an academic degree, e.g., in land surveying, community building, or another education that the employer deems equivalent.

You have relevant and documented work experience in property law matters.

You have a driver's license for a passenger car. Travel is done with one of the municipality's environmentally friendly cars.

You have very good knowledge of Swedish and express yourself well in both speech and writing.

Experience working in a politically governed organization is an advantage.
