Network Preparation Specialist – Stockholm (Direct Recruitment)

Do you want to work with project planning and preparation within electricity distribution and be an important part of Sweden's energy transition? We are now looking for a Network Preparation Specialist based in Stockholm.

This is a direct recruitment, which means you will be employed directly by the client company from day one. The recruitment process is handled by eLinked.

We can also assist with housing solutions in Stockholm if needed.

About the Role

In the role of a preparation specialist, you will work with technical planning and project preparation within the electricity grid, primarily local networks. You are responsible for ensuring that the projects are correctly prepared before construction and that the work meets safety, quality, and economic requirements.

Responsibilities include, among other things:

• Technical preparation of electricity grid projects (0.4–24 kV)
• Design of underground cable networks, overhead lines, and substations
• Network calculations and technical dimensioning
• Preparation of work maps, material specifications, and work documents
• Cost estimation and budgeting
• Permit management and contact with landowners, customers, and authorities
• Coordination with project managers and contractors

You will be based in Stockholm but can work both from the office and in the field depending on the needs of the projects.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a technical understanding of electrical power and who wants to further develop within electricity grid design and preparation.

Requirements:

• Electrical engineering education or equivalent work experience
• Experience working within local networks
• At least 1–3 years of experience as a preparation specialist, distribution electrician, or similar role (more experience is certainly an advantage)
• Good computer skills
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B

Preferred Competencies:

• Knowledge of EBR
• Experience with design tools and network information systems
• Cost estimation and contract law
• Experience with electricity distribution 0.4–24 kV
