TeknikAkademin Norden AB is looking for an instructor in automation with an engineering focus who wants to teach and guide students in industrial automation. The role includes both theoretical teaching and practical elements, focusing on control technology, PLC programming, industrial control systems, and relevant aspects of electrical engineering and mechatronics.

As an instructor, you contribute to providing students with a comprehensive understanding of how automated systems are planned, programmed, commissioned, and maintained in modern industrial environments.

• Teach automation technology, control technology, and industrial control systems

• Guide students in PLC programming and work with HMI/SCADA

• Introduce mechatronic systems, sensor technology, and motor control

• Teach applied electrical knowledge related to automation, such as electrical diagrams and safety requirements

• Support students in troubleshooting, commissioning, and practical applications

• Has a professional or academic background as an automation engineer or in a related technical field

• Has experience in PLC programming and industrial control systems

• Has a good understanding of mechatronics and how mechanics, electricity, and control systems interact

• Has applied electrical knowledge relevant to automation and safety requirements

• Is confident in technical reasoning and practical work

• Has good pedagogical skills and can convey technical connections clearly

• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

• Preferred: experience in teaching or mentoring
