In close collaboration with successful companies in the Gothenburg region, we ensure that our education is relevant and precise, allowing students to enter the workforce immediately after graduation.

Responsibilities

We are looking for teachers for our vocational education programs in CAD construction. The programs include both theoretical and practical components and have a clear connection to the labor market and current industry needs.

As a teacher at Yrgo, you will work closely with the labor market, particularly in connection with LIA (internship). A central part of the role is to work project-based together with students and to develop and implement courses that are industry-relevant, technically current, and pedagogically adapted for adult learners.

As a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing your courses in close collaboration with the principal, program leaders, and colleagues. The role involves contacts with the labor market, both by managing existing collaborations and building new ones, primarily related to the work in the programs' management groups and LIA. You will work with:

• planning courses, developing course materials, and teaching CAD construction
• working project-based with students in construction and development projects
• participating in the work around LIA in collaboration with program leaders and the labor market
• supervising students during their thesis projects
• conducting examinations, grading, and course evaluations
• developing courses and programs together with colleagues and industry
• monitoring your field and maintaining good contacts with the labor market.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant technical background. You are a university or engineering graduate, or have a vocational education in areas such as mechanical engineering, product development, or CAD construction, along with several years of work experience in the field.

You should have good knowledge in some of the following areas:

• CAD construction and drawing techniques
• mechanical design
• product development
• materials science and manufacturing methods
• 3D modeling and technical documentation
• CAD and PDM systems, such as Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks, or equivalent.

The position requires you to work independently, take responsibility for your teaching, and structure your work well. You have good collaboration skills, are communicative and flexible, and possess good pedagogical abilities and a genuine interest in adult learning.
