About the position
As a CAM Engineer in machining, you are the key person who transforms ideas into reality. With your technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to think both strategically and practically, you ensure that each component is manufactured with the highest quality and efficiency. You work daily to ensure product quality and delivery, as well as more long-term with planned improvement projects.
In your role, you will:
- Work on activities related to product quality and process improvement to achieve robust manufacturing processes and high efficiency.
- Plan and prepare machining for production.
- Create and maintain CNC preparations using Mastercam.
- Perform technical analyses and problem-solving within machining.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure that manufacturing processes meet specifications and requirements.
- Participate in the development of fixtures using CAD tools.
- Engage in close dialogue with operators, technicians, and management in daily work, as well as participate in discussions with customers regarding production technical issues.
- Work with product preparation and production technology.
Your experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Technical education or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in machining and CNC programming.
- Experience in structural preparation and a good understanding of production preparation.
- Good knowledge of Mastercam.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Problem-solving skills, proactive and analytical thinking.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge and experience using Inventor or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Monitor G5 is a plus.
