Do you want to work closely with individuals, make a real difference in people's daily lives, and contribute to creating security and independence?
Svea Boende is now looking for support workers on an as-needed basis for our supported housing in Malmö. The position also includes a standby phone one week per month.
About the role
As a support worker at Svea Boende, you will work closely with individuals facing various forms of psychosocial issues, mental health challenges, diagnoses, or illnesses that have been granted supported housing assistance according to social services. Together with the client, you will develop implementation plans and work towards individually set goals in accordance with social services' orders.
The role combines relationship-building work, motivational work, practical support, and administrative tasks such as documentation, record-keeping, and risk analyses. Solo work may occur.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the client to strengthen independence and goal achievement
- Establish and follow up on implementation plans according to social services' orders
- Document through record-keeping, risk analyses, and monthly reports
- Hold regular weekly meetings with clients to follow up on well-being and planning
- Support clients in contact with authorities, healthcare contacts, and employment
- Provide practical support in everyday situations such as cooking, cleaning, planning, and basic financial matters
- Adapt work methods and pace according to clients' individual needs
- Work independently during solo work and be able to make quick decisions when necessary
- Contribute to security, structure, and quality in the operation
We are looking for someone who

- Is confident in working independently and making decisions in various situations
- Has a professional demeanor and easily builds trusting relationships
Requirements
- Post-secondary education as a treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other equivalent education deemed relevant by the employer
