About the AssignmentWe are looking for a senior HR consultant for a strategic and operational assignment within the manufacturing industry. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the EU's pay transparency directive and in driving the development of a new pay model for employees covered by the IF Metall collective agreement.
This assignment is suitable for you who thrive in an independent and project-leading role with many stakeholders, where you work closely with both the business, trade unions, and a global organization.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with legislation related to the EU's pay transparency directive and translate the requirements into local processes and routines
- Develop and establish routines, processes, and templates for information provision to employees and job seekers
- Project lead and/or contribute to the development of pay reports (data collection, quality assurance, analysis, and compilation)
- Coordinate union collaboration related to new requirements and processes
- Ensure ongoing alignment with the global organization and adapt global guidelines to local needs and legal requirements
- Coordinate contacts with Corporate regarding systems, report templates, and global processes
- Lead and coordinate the development of a new pay model within the IF Metall collective agreement area
- Ensure that job and additional role descriptions are complete, current, and applicable in the model
- Collaborate with trade unions and the business throughout the process
- Provide structured decision-making materials to management
- Ensure structured handover and implementation
- University or college degree in HR, labor law, human resource management, or equivalent, or documented extensive experience as an HR consultant/HR specialist in qualified assignments
- At least 5 years of experience in a qualified HR role
- Experience working with payroll processes, wage mapping, or wage formation
- Experience in HR projects (analysis, implementation, and follow-up)
- Experience collaborating with trade unions and negotiating according to the MBL
- Very good knowledge of Swedish labor law
- Good knowledge of wage formation, wage structures, and wage mapping
- Good understanding of HR processes, especially in compensation and benefits
- Familiarity with union collaboration, MBL processes, and collective agreements
- Good Swedish in speech and writing
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex HR data into clear recommendations
- Ability to independently lead and drive projects
- Very good communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Structured, self-driven, and relationship-building working style
- Experience from the manufacturing industry or larger collective agreement-driven organizations
- Experience in developing or revising pay models for employees covered by collective agreements
- Negotiation experience within the Technical Agreement and collective agreements such as IF Metall and Unionen
- In-depth knowledge of the EU's pay transparency directive
- Experience in HR data analysis and visualization (e.g., Power BI, advanced Excel)
- Experience in training managers in payroll processes
- Advanced courses in labor law and/or wage formation
