Scandic Swania is located in the heart of Trollhättan, right by the Trollhätte Canal. The beautiful building that houses the hotel dates back to 1916, and many people in the city have a connection to the hotel. We are now looking for a Night Receptionist for Scandic Swania.

What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. At night, you have an extra important role in ensuring the hotel's safety. You are the spider in the web who ensures that the guest is always the focus. You are the one who goes through the arrival list and pays attention to the details. You ensure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most issues and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, safety work, and sales work.

The job in reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and safety. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

The hotel is open 24/7, and this is a seasonal position for night work.

Who are you?

To fit the role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and are capable of handling many different things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

You also have experience and knowledge in working with a computer as a tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, that is an advantage.

However, the most important thing is your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

Information about the position

The position is a temporary part-time employment. Summer employment.

You must be at least 20 years old to apply.
