Workplace

At the Economic Crime Authority in Gothenburg, operations are conducted at two economic crime chambers and a police operational unit. We are now seeking one or more chamber prosecutors for the economic crime chambers in Gothenburg.

Job Responsibilities

The investigations are conducted in working groups adapted to the scope and complexity of the case. Different competencies work together in teams based on the assignment to effectively investigate and prosecute economic crime. As a chamber prosecutor at the Economic Crime Authority, you will lead the preliminary investigation from the moment a case is received and the preliminary investigation is initiated until the case is concluded.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Is or has been a chamber prosecutor
• Has good legal knowledge
• Can express themselves well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience with cases related to economic crime or other business-related crime (especially advantageous)
• Experience in leading preliminary investigations and conducting proceedings in extensive or complicated investigations (especially advantageous)
• Experience in qualified legal work relevant to the work of a prosecutor, such as a lawyer or other specific experience in insolvency issues, bankruptcy handling, or similar.
• Experience in handling secret coercive measures
• Experience with cases of international relevance
• Economic education
