We are expanding the team and looking for two employees for Operations Service. Welcome to apply!

The Administration Department within the Customs Agency is responsible for premises, vehicles, clothing, office and operational services, as well as procurement, finance, security, and preparedness. The department consists of a management support and five national units, where operational service is one of the units.

The Operations Service unit consists of just over 35 employees who are geographically located in various places across the country, mainly in Stockholm, Malmö, and Gothenburg. The Operations Service unit is led by a unit manager and has a unit support consisting of operational coordinators, business developers, and three responsible managers in a geographical division: south, west, and east/north.

Operations Service has a portfolio management with a Facility Management service offering that also includes the management of the authority's premises, vehicles, clothing, property protection, and service cards. The unit develops, manages, provides, and secures the operational needs for appropriate and efficient operational service. The unit also has important responsibilities and tasks related to heightened preparedness and special events.

About the position

As an employee in Operations Service, you will work flexibly and without prestige in an engaged team where everyone takes responsibility. The tasks based on our Facility Management portfolio are varied, focusing on facilitating the daily operations for other functions within the Customs Agency. In your role, you will also independently drive smaller assignments/projects with varying time frames. The position involves travel, including overnight stays within the western area.

In the team, consisting of 9 people, led by the manager for the western service area, you contribute to achieving set goals and actively participate in developing, managing, and providing the service offering within the western area.

Travel with overnight stays occurs regularly within the western service area.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Completed high school education with passing grades in Swedish, English, and mathematics
  • At least two years of relevant work experience in facility management
  • Very good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Experience with IT system support within facility management
  • Excellent ability to communicate and express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English
  • Good habits in independently organizing and planning administrative routines
  • Swedish driver's license, at least class B for passenger cars, manual
  • Good physical condition as the work can be physically demanding
  • Swedish citizenship

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience with LOU and operational purchasing
  • Experience in invoice management and financial follow-up
  • Experience in property management, vehicle management, clothing, property protection, and service cards
  • Independently managed smaller assignments/projects
  • Experience in producing written information

The employment is a permanent position and begins with a 6-month probationary period, and individual salary setting applies.
