Disruption Coordinator for Västtrafik

Do you want to make a difference for hundreds of thousands of travelers every day? On behalf of Västtrafik, we are now looking for an engaged and solution-oriented Disruption Coordinator. You will be a key player in managing acute traffic disruptions and ensuring that travelers receive clear and reliable information - around the clock, year-round.

The position is a part-time employment, which means you work as needed - primarily to cover for absences and during the Christmas and summer periods.

As a Disruption Coordinator, you will work 3 shifts.

Responsibilities

As a Disruption Coordinator, you work at the intersection of resource coordination and disruption information. Your main tasks include:

• Monitoring the traffic situation and acting proactively during disruptions
• Coordinating and ordering replacement and reinforcement traffic
• Communicating clearly and accurately via Västtrafik's digital channels
• Collaborating with internal departments, transport companies, and authorities
• Leading and distributing work for external traffic managers and informants
• Participating in crisis preparedness and managing larger events
• Documenting and following up on disruptions for learning and improvement
• Training and supporting colleagues and ensuring quality in deliveries

The work is safety classified and takes place in an intensive environment that requires quick problem-solving and good collaboration skills.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least a high school education
• Very good computer skills, especially in Office 365
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience from public transport, traffic management, or customer-facing roles
• Understanding of logistics and planning
• Driver's license and driving experience
