Music Teacher at Gymnasium Skövde

In this role, you will be part of the Education and Child Sector. Our focus is on the development of children and youth. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and conduct lessons in guitar, bass, music theory, and various ensembles such as world music, jazz, and big band. This includes participation in concerts.
• Guide students in music production, recording techniques, and digital audio processing.
• Collaborate with colleagues in preparation for concerts and projects.
• Contribute to the school's music profile through workshops, guest artists, and external collaborations.
• Participate in high school fairs and Open House events.
• The position includes mentorship.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You must be a certified music teacher for high school and have pedagogical experience.
• You should have deep expertise in the areas mentioned above. Additional instruments may be advantageous.
• You possess creativity, the ability to think innovatively, and can inspire and motivate students.
• You have experience with digital learning platforms.
• You have good collaboration skills and thrive in a dynamic work environment.

To start working in preschool, school, after-school care, and other educational activities, you must provide an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the Swedish Police Authority www.polisen.se.
