One of our skilled colleagues is going on parental leave, so we are now looking for a leisure teacher for a temporary position at Sparrås School, a popular and growing school with competent teachers and educators.

Sparrås School is a growing F-6 school built in 2017, located in a nature-friendly area in Ytterby outside Kungälv. The school has about 450 students in grades F-6 and several after-school departments. The staff consists of a stable and committed team with a high percentage of qualified educators.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who can be an adult role model for our students and, of course, you are a creative and positive colleague who enjoys planning and developing the activities together with your colleagues. You will independently and collaboratively plan, implement, and evaluate the educational work. A good ability to collaborate is a prerequisite for close cooperation with teachers, guardians, and students. Our school is located in close proximity to nature, which provides great opportunities in educational work.

We work in close collaboration, and the entire staff shares a common responsibility to support and promote each student's development.

We require that you have knowledge of or are comfortable supporting students with diabetes, or are willing to learn, as this will be part of the assignment.

Qualifications

• Is a licensed leisure teacher.
• Has good leadership skills and the ability to capture and stimulate students' curiosity and interest in learning.
• Has high expectations for both students and the organization, as well as a strong belief that all students can do well if they are able.
• Enjoys and is willing to collaborate closely with colleagues, seeing opportunities and taking responsibility together with the team to solve everyday challenges.
• Has an inclusive approach and the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Has a holistic perspective on student development and sees each individual and their abilities in group contexts.
• Has good digital competence.
