You will lead the educational work together with colleagues in an engaged team. Together, you will plan, implement, document, and follow up on the education based on the preschool curriculum. The open preschool is a meeting place for adults and children, from newborns up to when the child starts school. The operation offers a pedagogical environment where children can play and adults can meet other adults. Guardians also have the opportunity to receive support in their parenting. Within the framework of the family-centered working method, the open preschools collaborate with child health care and preventive social services. Through this interdisciplinary collaboration with various professional competencies, you will have the opportunity to help shape the operation.

Your assignment includes actively contributing to an inviting and pleasant meeting place where children and adults feel welcome. This means that content and approach are carefully considered to create a positive and fun environment for networking. You will work based on an approach of equal value for all and an equitable parenting. Working in open preschool also means introducing children and guardians to a first preschool environment. The daily gathering and being in a group facilitate and prepare the start for regular preschool.

Our open preschools have a close collaboration, which means that the position is mobile and may involve work at several units.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher with the ability to create good collaborations and relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are a confident leader and a good role model for both children and adults, with the ability to create a positive and developing environment where children can grow at their own pace.

You can plan, implement, document, and analyze the operation according to the preschool curriculum and other governing documents. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing, and you are comfortable using digital tools in your work.

Meritorious:

• Good knowledge of English.
• Several years of work experience as a preschool teacher.
• Experience in parenting support.
• Experience working in open preschool operations.
