Dalängskolan is a school for grades 7-9 located in the western part of Lidköping.

Job Description

In this role, you will support students who need various types of help in mathematics. You will work together with a qualified special education teacher in mathematics and collaborate closely with subject teachers, student health, and school management. You will have close contact with the teaching teachers and be part of a workgroup with colleagues who have similar assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support in mathematics at individual and group levels
• Conduct pedagogical assessments and evaluations in mathematics in consultation with the special education teacher in mathematics
• Plan, implement, and follow up on special support measures and action plans
• Be part of the subject group for mathematics with the aim of developing teaching
• Responsibility for teaching groups may occur

Qualifications:

• Certified teacher with a focus on mathematics
• Good knowledge of governing documents and assessment in mathematics

Who are you?

You are a certified teacher with experience teaching mathematics. Experience teaching students in need of special support. You enjoy working closely with students in smaller teaching groups. You see students' strengths and meet their developmental needs.

We are looking for someone who is well acquainted with the subject's purpose, abilities, and knowledge requirements and is well-versed in the school's view of knowledge and values. You have good knowledge and competence in digital and formative learning processes.

We would like you to be interested in and have experience with language-developing approaches. You have the ability to motivate and create learning environments characterized by inclusion, variation, and interactivity. You have the ability to see and meet each student and start from what works.

You see opportunities to work interdisciplinary in collaboration with others. Your learning in collegial learning is a given. You reflect on and analyze your own teaching as a natural part of your practice. You have a strong commitment in the classroom and take significant responsibility in your work.

You have a very good ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are communicative and creative. We would like you to dare to think and try new things together with others.
