Hällingsjö School is a F-6 school with approximately 150 students and 24 staff members. The school is located in the eastern parts of Härryda municipality, bordering Marks municipality. The school is the center of the idyllic village of Hällingsjö, with meadows, forests, and a lake within walking distance. The school has a solid reputation and is known for its high levels of comfort, safety, and conducive study environment. The staff at the school and after-school care work closely together, and it is a given for us to help each other throughout the day to ensure the best possible experience for our children/students.

We have two after-school care centers – Linden for students in grades F-1 and Boken (including After-School Club) for students in grades 2-5.

During the spring and the upcoming school year, we will continue our collaborative efforts to further develop the after-school activities by creating a clearer thread throughout the school day and a clearer connection to the curriculum goals.

Your Mission

We are now looking for you, a qualified teacher in after-school care, who is passionate about school development and thrives in a small, family-like environment.

You will be part of a team with three other after-school care teachers and two leisure leaders.

Your main task is to plan, implement, evaluate, analyze, and document the after-school care activities together with the rest of the team.

Your role also includes being outside during the students' breaks and being involved in the school's activities during parts of the school day. What this entails will be planned together with the responsible class teacher. This could involve being responsible for a smaller group of students during a lesson.

The position is a permanent employment with a vacation service.

Requirements for the Position

You are a qualified teacher in after-school care – preferably with sports or music as a practical aesthetic elective.
Experience in the profession is desirable but not required.

To obtain employment, a criminal record extract from the police must be presented.
