Nya Skolan's primary schools F-9

Nya Skolan Lilla Edet is a F-9 school with an associated after-school program located in central Lilla Edet.

The work as a teacher at Nya Skolan Lilla Edet is carried out in close collaboration with the student health team and other colleagues within the work team. The work is led by our principal with several years of experience in pedagogical leadership at Nya Skolan. Together we create an atmosphere where knowledge is fun and learning is an exciting adventure!

We are looking to increase the qualification level among our teaching staff and are now seeking you who are a certified teacher in one of the subjects listed below for a permanent position with us at Nya Skolan Lilla Edet. Warm welcome with your application!

Description

For the autumn of 2026, we are looking for you who are certified in one of the following subjects or specializations. A combination of several subjects may occur.

• Middle school teacher grades 4-6 100%
• Teacher in mathematics / science / technology grades 6-9 100%
• Music teacher grades 4-9 40%-50%
• Textile crafts teacher grades 3-9 40%-50%
• Social studies teacher grades 6-9 80-100%
• Teacher in modern languages German / Spanish 40%
• Teacher with a focus on after-school care 50%-100%

We see that you are an open person who is calm and secure in yourself and where collaboration is taken for granted. You are creative, proactive, and self-driven as well as positively inclined towards the development of the organization and the educational environment. In our teaching, we use ICT tools such as Smartboards, iPads, and Chromebooks and communicate with guardians via the learning platform InfoMentor. You should have insight into the school's governing documents and the laws that govern the school's activities as well as experience in pedagogical documentation.

About the position

Working hours vary from 40-100% depending on the subject and any combinations of subjects.

The positions will be filled in August 2026 or by agreement. It is an advantage if you have several years of experience in the teaching profession.

The positions are permanent with a probationary period. Recruitment is ongoing. The position is subject to background checks, and presenting an extract from the police criminal record is mandatory.
