About the position

We are currently looking for two music teachers specializing in guitar and bass as well as piano. Both positions may include singing with children's groups. Kulturskolan Smedjan is an integrated part of the school system in the municipality and meets children in connection with the school day and during afternoons and evenings. In our faculty, we enjoy playing together, and throughout the year, we carry out some joint projects.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained music teacher or has other education that the employer considers equivalent. Previous experience from music culture schools, knowledge of sound technology, and subject knowledge in other art forms may also be advantageous.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Performance and teaching tests may occur during the interview.

The positions are permanent employment at 70 percent with start in August when the school year begins. Upcoming retirements mean that the basis for the positions may be expanded over time.
