We are now looking for preschool teachers for Sjupundsgatan 33 in Högsbo. Our guiding principles are "this is where the future grows and our preschool is a place where children are given the opportunity for participation and influence in teaching. With us, children meet in a safe community where play, learning, and linguistic diversity are an asset.

The preschool has a close collaboration with the University of Gothenburg aimed at developing and strengthening the quality of teaching. Together, we explore how research and practice can meet in everyday life, as well as how we follow up and develop quality over time. A few times each term, the team meets with a lecturer from the university during our workplace meetings, in addition to this, preschool teachers also meet with the lecturer once a month. During these meetings, we delve into pedagogical questions and reflect on our practice. As a preschool teacher with us, you have an important and driving role in this work and are involved in developing the operations together with colleagues in collaboration with the university.

We are looking for three preschool teachers, two of whom will be placed in the same team. This is a great opportunity for those who want to seek new challenges together as a pair and continue to develop in a new context!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher with the ability to create good collaborations and relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are a confident leader and a good role model for both children and adults, with the ability to create a positive and developing environment where children can grow at their own pace.

You can plan, implement, document, and analyze the operations according to the preschool curriculum and other governing documents. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing, and are comfortable using digital tools in your work.

Meritorious:

Previous work experience and are confident in the role of preschool teacher.
Have additional training or a special interest in languages, and want to actively contribute to strengthening children's language development. We are working to introduce a language profile.
Have training in low-arousal approaches or other relevant competencies, such as in special education.
Are flexible and see the entire unit as an important part of your assignment.
Want to actively participate in our ongoing development process in collaboration with the university, aimed at strengthening the quality of our operations.
