Description

Located between a lush forest area and a residential neighborhood, you will find Bräckeskolan.

At Bräckeskolan, we have grades from preschool to grade 6, along with an after-school program. We are about 60 staff members serving our 500 students. We have 6 departments in our after-school program for students in grades F-6.

We are now looking for a teacher for the after-school program with responsibility for teaching and managing the after-school activities, preferably with qualifications in sports and health.

Responsibilities

Together with the school's teachers in the after-school program, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the after-school activities according to applicable governing documents and the program's goals. You will work to strengthen students' learning processes and to create an enjoyable and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. You will ensure that the educational activities are designed to take into account each individual student's unique conditions and abilities. You will collaborate with guardians, student health, work teams, and other school staff.

Together with your colleagues, you will also be involved in the pedagogical work during the school day, both by conducting lessons, break activities, and by supporting students individually and in groups or in class.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher for the after-school program. Previous experience working in an after-school program is an advantage, but we also welcome newly graduated teachers. We would like you to have qualifications in sports and health.

You have the ability to meet children and young people with warmth and clarity. As a person, you are attentive and open to understanding the needs, feelings, and opinions of others. You convey information and ideas clearly and ensure that your message gets across. You adapt your communication to the audience, target group, and situation.

By listening, showing interest, and respect, you work well with others. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible. You think about those we are here for and their best interests.

The role also requires you to take responsibility for your tasks and the group's tasks. You do your best to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on how it went.

The introduction provides you with a network of other newly graduated teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
