Ransbergs School is a newly built rural school, beautifully located by Lake Örlen. We are now looking for an engaged special teacher who will also have parts of the assignment related to special educational work.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In the role of special teacher, you will work with mapping, assessments, and analyses at both individual and group levels. In close collaboration with teaching staff, you will design, follow up, and develop additional adaptations and special support. You will be responsible for planning and implementing teaching for students both individually and in smaller groups. You will systematically follow students' knowledge development and ensure that the interventions have the intended effect. Your expertise will also be important in creating accessible learning environments for all students.

In addition to the special teacher assignment, part of the position will involve special educational work. This includes mentoring and supporting educators in matters related to leadership and stimulation, additional adaptations, and special support. You will actively participate in the school's student health work and contribute to creating sustainable structures for collaboration between student health, working groups, and teaching. You will also play a significant role in school development processes concerning accessible learning environments, student health work, and promoting and preventive measures. An important part of your assignment is to contribute to making student health work a natural and integrated part of the school's common mission.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed special teacher and/or special educator with solid pedagogical and didactic competence. You are confident in driving special education and have experience organizing and leading instruction for both individual students and groups. You are skilled at analyzing students' school situations and suggesting appropriate measures, and you have the ability to mentor educators in both urgent and long-term processes.
