Do you want to make a real difference for young people at risk of falling out of education and the labor market? Framtidscentrum in Trollhättan is now looking for an engaged teacher for a newly started pilot project in collaboration with Kunskapsförbundet Väst and IM at Nils Eriksson Gymnasium.

About the Project

The initiative is a pilot project during 2026 and will be developed in close collaboration between Framtidscentrum and IM. The goal is to implement the working methods into regular operations from 2027.

Students are offered parallel support through:

• Job coach and activity pedagogue
• Internships Workshops (labor market knowledge, health, adult life, etc.)
• Motivational conversations
• Individual study plans

Goals of the Initiative

• To help young people return to school
• To ensure all students achieve one or more grades in core subjects
• To create a sustainable collaboration model between IM and Framtidscentrum

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a teacher for 50% with a start in February 2026. You will teach young people aged 16–20 who:

• Do not attend high school (so-called home-sitters)
• Are at risk of being expelled from high school due to high absenteeism or behavioral issues
• Students are enrolled in IM and the goal is for them to eventually return to education in the school's framework.

Teaching takes place in Framtidscentrum's premises and focuses on core subjects at a basic level, aiming for students to:

• Become eligible for national high school programs
• Prepare for studies at Komvux or folk high school
• Eventually achieve self-sufficiency

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is educated or has ongoing training to become a teacher.
• Has experience working with young people in need of special support.
• Is relationship-building, flexible, and comfortable working individually tailored.
• Has the ability to work solution-focused in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
• You need to appreciate and feel secure in working on projects where structure is formed continuously.

Experience working within IM is an advantage.

Employment Information

Temporary employment 50% until 26-12-31. You should be able to start immediately.
