Logistics Officer at J4

Implementation Section – J4

The Operations Management (OPL) is tasked with supporting the Chief OPL with relevant planning, implementation, and decision support for leading the Armed Forces' operations both nationally and internationally.

The Implementation Section is one of three sections within the Logistics Department /J4. The section is responsible for coordinating logistics in the short and medium term.

Main Responsibilities

As a logistics officer, you have a holistic perspective and are involved in the implementation, planning, and coordination of logistics.

Coordination takes place with units within the Armed Forces as well as with civilian authorities and organizations, as well as foreign units.

You play a role in the section's development and have administrative tasks, such as drafting documents and minutes, bookings, orders, updating collaboration platforms, preparing and compiling materials, and other administrative tasks relevant to the position.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • High school education with passing grades
  • Current and relevant experience in administrative work within logistics at a higher staff level in the Armed Forces or another national authority
  • Experience in international development work between authorities
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English – both spoken and written
  • Driving license B

Meritorious

  • Completed military basic training, conscription, or equivalent with passing results
  • Experience from work with transportation, supply provision, and/or host nation support
  • Previous service in the Armed Forces
  • Previous international service or within voluntary defense
  • Experience and knowledge of the Armed Forces' IT systems, preferably LOGFAS

Employment form: Permanent employment. The employment begins with a 6-month probationary period.
Employment degree: Full-time. Working hours are primarily during the day, but evening and weekend work may occur.
Work location: Stockholm. The position is not suitable for remote work. Short trips to other locations and abroad may occur.
Position level: Civil
Start date: By agreement
The position involves military placement and will therefore be preceded by a security clearance.

Tests may occur in the recruitment process.
