Department Security Section, RK Security, Administrative Department

We are looking for someone with experience in security work in sensitive operations. As a security coordinator in the Department Security Section, you will play a central role in the Government Offices' security work and thus contribute to Sweden's security.

As a security coordinator in the Department Security Section, you will primarily work with other security coordinators to support and guide the departments, the Administrative Department, and the Office of the Prime Minister on security issues. You will work as a generalist in both operational protection and security protection. The security department has specialists who can support with their knowledge in physical security, personnel security, and information security.

Your work, which varies between operational and strategic, includes conducting security training, security clearance interviews, managing incidents, conducting analyses, and contributing in various ways to the development of the Government Offices' security work.

Your background

Requirements:

  • Higher education in a relevant field or other training in the security area combined with work experience relevant to the position.
  • Relevant experience in sensitive operations.
  • Experience in training and giving presentations.
  • Experience in conducting outward-facing security work with advice and knowledge dissemination.
  • Knowledge of the regulations governing security and security protection work.
  • Ability to express oneself well in speech and writing in Swedish.

Meritorious:

  • Security protection training.
  • Familiarity with the Government Offices' organization and working methods.
  • Experience in administrative tasks within the Government Offices.
  • Experience in conducting security clearance interviews.
  • Experience in security protection analysis.
  • Good knowledge of the civil servant role.

The position refers to one or more permanent positions with a six-month probationary period as a start. The position is classified in a security class, and a security clearance with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but you may have a foreign background.
