The orthopedic department provides emergency care, elective surgery, and day surgery services. We are the largest surgical operation in Region Gävleborg, treating, operating, and caring for patients with diseases, injuries, and pain in muscles and bones. Orthopedics is an exciting specialty that is constantly evolving.

At the orthopedics department in Hudiksvall, there are seven medical secretaries working together and distributing the workload among themselves. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary with us, you will have a varied and important role. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and qualitative administrative operation that creates the best possible conditions for patients and healthcare staff.

As a medical secretary with us, you will work with:

• dictation writing
• mail handling
• quality registers
• care documentation and registration in Cosmic
• diagnosis and procedure coding
• referral handling
• all other secretary tasks within both outpatient and inpatient care.
