Montessori School Casa is run by the non-profit Foundation Casa dei Bambini. We are a small and highly appreciated institution beautifully located in Bö, centrally in Gothenburg. We offer both preschool and primary school (grades F–9) and have approximately 280 children and students as well as around 50 staff members. As most teachers have completed the special education uplift, it is our ambition to gradually provide all teachers with the same foundation through continuous professional development.

Both children and adults at our school are driven by a common belief: that development is possible for everyone and that challenges are meant to be overcome. Our pedagogical foundation is based on Montessori education, where the goal is to lay a stable foundation for future responsible global citizens.

We strive to utilize each employee's full competence and create a work environment where well-being, professional development, and responsibility go hand in hand. Collegial learning is a central part of our operations, and we enjoy working thematically and interdisciplinary. We focus on accessible and inclusive learning environments based on current research and proven experience.

We are looking for someone who shares our values and wants to help develop the organization.

Qualifications:

- We are looking for someone with a teaching degree (primary teacher for grades 4-9 in Swedish and English).

- Experience with Montessori pedagogy is a plus, and curiosity about our pedagogy is a requirement.

Personal qualities:

- You are engaged, professional, proactive, and a good team player.

- You have good collaboration skills, clarity, and responsiveness in an independent role, and can plan, organize, and execute your tasks together with others.

- You take responsibility for your work tasks; plan, structure, and prioritize your work effectively with good results.

- You have the ability to motivate and communicate effectively.

- You are attentive and have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and can adapt your way of conveying messages to the recipient.

- You see opportunities in change and can adapt to altered circumstances.

- You have strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.

- Digital competence.

Employment:

- Permanent position 100%.

Start date 3/8 - 2026 or by agreement.
