ABOUT THE JOB

Youth and Care is an organization located in Nacka that offers supported housing, training apartments, housing support, and qualified contact persons on behalf of the social services. We work with the target group within social psychiatry and LSS.

The services are individually tailored based on the individual's needs and the social services' orders. Support can include assistance in various situations both inside and outside the home. The support always aims to increase the individual's independence and participation. The methods we practice in our work are primarily ESL (an independent life), MI (motivational interviewing), and clear pedagogical approaches. Collaboration and support with other actors such as social services, psychiatry, healthcare, and other authorities are also very common.

As a housing supporter / qualified contact person, you have a significant responsibility for planning, implementation, and documentation in the individual cases you are responsible for. Therefore, it is important that you are proactive and able to work independently. It is also important that you can work in a team, are flexible, solution-focused, and can handle stress. Great consideration is given to personal suitability and maturity.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in similar work and relevant education. The requirement is at least a 2-year post-secondary education. Relevant education for the position is social pedagogical or equivalent education. Knowledge of ESL, MI, and IBIC is an advantage.

Working hours are primarily during the day, but the work schedule also includes working in a community center one evening a week and every sixth Saturday.

A criminal record extract is required before employment.
