The HR department in Krokom Municipality includes HR and payroll. The payroll group consists of four payroll administrators, a system administrator, and a payroll manager. The HR group consists of five HR consultants, an HR strategist, and an HR manager. Our mission is to be responsible for the municipality's payroll management, provide support to management and leaders, and drive strategic employer issues.

The municipal management administration supports three committees; the Municipal Executive Board, the Building and Environmental Committee, and the Community Planning Committee. The administration employs about 135 staff and is divided into areas of staff, building and environment, and community planning and growth.

A day with us in the HR department

We are looking for a meticulous and structured payroll administrator who wants to be part of our department and contribute to effective and secure payroll management. As a payroll administrator with us, you will play an important role in supporting our organization with various administrative tasks, both in payroll and HR.

We are open to shaping the temporary position according to your experience and skills. If you have experience in payroll processing, we are open to focusing the position more on this.

The tasks that could be included are:

• Archive management - responsible for reviewing and purging our near-archive, which means ensuring that all documents are handled and archived according to the applicable retention plan.
• Review of employment contracts and other payroll documents – review and ensure that employment contracts and other documents are correct.
• Creation of manuals, updating procedures – create and update internal manuals to facilitate for both the department and the organization.
• Support cases – handle and respond to certain cases via our case management system and provide support to managers and employees on issues related to payroll administration and related processes.
• HR administrative tasks – support in various administrative tasks, such as handling priority rights according to LAS, recruitment administration in the ReachMee system, administration of employee benefits, and other HR-related processes.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

• high school education
• experience in administrative work, preferably in payroll administration or HR
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• high digital maturity, with experience and comfort in working with various digital systems and tools, such as planning and organizing work within Microsoft M365 through Planner, To do, One Note

You find new digital solutions exciting and interesting. To thrive in this job, you also need to be able to work independently and take initiative. You are a problem solver and have a strong service orientation.

Post-secondary education in administration, payroll, or HR is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have experience working with any of the following:

• payroll processing
• payroll or HR administration
• HR issues
• the personnel system Heroma
• the central collective agreements applicable to municipalities (especially General Provisions with appendices)

Temporary full-time position during 2025 with immediate start according to agreement.
