Your Mission

As a personal assistant, you will work with a woman in her 40s who has ALS. She is a social person who enjoys laughter and appreciates company. We are looking for assistants who are attentive to her needs and can act independently and take initiative. Communication mainly occurs through a speech tablet and writing.

The tasks vary depending on the client's changing needs, and it is important that you are flexible and can adapt to changes.

If you work during the day, your job will involve supporting the client in daily life, such as personal care, household chores, transfers, social activities, and accompanying her on errands.

Your Experience

To be considered for the role, we prefer that you have:

• Previous experience as a personal assistant, especially with ALS
• Good physical ability as the job may involve lifting and transfers
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

We are looking for a female candidate who is social, patient, and independent. You should have a good ability to adapt to changing needs and be able to take initiative when necessary. Humor and a light-hearted attitude are important for our client, so it is a plus if you are someone who enjoys laughter and can create a relaxed atmosphere.

About the Employment

We are looking for assistants who can start immediately. You will be offered a PAN employment and will receive a tailored introduction and training to learn about the client's specific needs and routines. The position is part of a team of assistants working together to provide the best possible support for the client.

Working hours are according to a schedule during the day, approximately 08:00/09:00–17:00 on both weekdays and weekends.

This employment begins with a PAN employment with the possibility of a fixed-term or permanent position with a probationary period. Read more about PAN employment here.
