The Health and Care Administration provides service, support, care, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities and is responsible for authority operations according to current legislation. The administration conducts activities within elderly care, LSS, social psychiatry, health care, family support, and authority operations. All work is performed with the resident in focus based on the value foundation; respect, participation, trust, and security. Together we make each other better and work to achieve the vision of quality of life throughout life.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for support staff for Tilgärdet, a group home just outside Sigtuna. The service is aimed at individuals with varying mental disabilities and co-occurring conditions.

The work is based on the individual interventions of the user according to the implementation plan. The assignment includes, among other things, medication management, support in daily activities, and documentation. A large part of the working hours consists of motivational conversations, risk assessments, and working based on established action plans. The service may involve issues such as substance abuse, threats, and violence, as well as suicidal ideation. The work also involves physical tasks.

The service operates around the clock, which means a schedule with shifts during days and evenings, as well as both weekdays and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry, treatment pedagogue/assistant, or has other post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent. We expect you to have experience working with the target group and collaborating with, for example, caseworkers, outpatient care, and psychiatry. You have experience documenting in social journals, preferably Life Care, and good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. We work in various systems, so good computer skills are a requirement. You also need to have a B driver's license. It is considered an asset for the position if you have experience with the following:

As a person, you are calm and can handle stress in a constructive and stable manner. You maintain a good mood under pressure and setbacks.
