Licensed Health and Hospital Social Worker for the Personality Disorder Clinic

About the Personality Disorder Clinic

The clinic is part of our outpatient care section and is located in pleasant premises near Skogskyrkogården subway station. The clinic targets patients with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) and is in the process of developing treatment models for other personality disorders. Our mission is to conduct in-depth investigations and treatment for the target group. We have a wide range of treatment options and evaluate and develop our operations with patient safety in focus. At the clinic, specialist doctors in psychiatry, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists, psychotherapists, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work together.

Qualifications

We are now looking for an experienced social worker with experience in psychosocial work within psychiatry. A degree in social work and a license as a health and hospital social worker are required for the position. Additionally, a broad professional profile acquired through education or practical experience in care and social services is advantageous.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with patients with personality disorders. It is an advantage if you have basic psychotherapy training in CBT or equivalent education. Experience in networking, counseling, and collaboration with authorities within the framework of psychiatric care is central to the role.

Your Work as a Social Worker

Your work consists of psychosocial assessments, crisis management, and supportive and follow-up conversations with patients and/or their relatives based on recommendations according to SLSO's care processes for adult psychiatry. At the clinic, we primarily base our work on the care process for EUPD.

As a social worker, you play an important role in supporting patients in their contact with the Social Insurance Agency, the municipality, and other external parties. You are a valuable asset to our treatment teams. With your specific expertise, you contribute to care planning and coordinated individual care planning (SIP) in collaboration with other employees in our treatment teams. The teams at the clinic consist of various professions to create a common understanding of the patient's care needs. In addition to being a key person for other practitioners, about half of your work efforts will consist of following up on a number of individual patients for whom you are the fixed care contact (FVK).

Our Expectations of You

We are looking for someone who finds it easy to collaborate with others and is flexible regarding different tasks. You have a genuine interest in working with patients with personality disorders and understand the importance of stable and professional interactions. We can promise you that you will come to a clinic with heart, competence, and commitment.

Personal Qualities

You are structured and can work independently while collaborating with other colleagues. You enjoy working in a team and want to contribute your specific social work expertise to provide patients with the best possible care and treatment. You have an empathetic ability reflected in curiosity and openness to new people. We strive for a balanced gender distribution and see diversity as a strength, thus welcoming applicants from various backgrounds.

What Can We Offer You?

We offer the opportunity to work with qualified treatment in a workplace that allows for personal and professional development at both individual and group levels. We provide a work environment where we together ensure that patients receive the best possible care. We can promise you that you will come to a clinic with heart, competence, and commitment.

Warm welcome to submit your application! The position will be filled under the condition that it is not needed for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
