We are a company with a big heart and high competence that is passionate about what we do and have extensive experience in assistance. I am looking for someone to help manage the afternoons and evening starts - so I can focus on work, life with my fiancée, and everything in between.

My name is Johnie, I am 33 years old, and I work as Head of Engineering at Omni. A tech nerd to the core. I live with spinal muscular atrophy type 2, which means I need assistance with the physical aspects of daily life. This is where you come in.

What do you actually do?

This is not a job where you check off a list. It’s more about being a partner who helps everything run smoothly.

In practice:

  • You are my extended arm - lifting the coffee cup, getting the computer, and assisting with practical details during afternoon work/meetings.
  • You help at home - routines upon arrival, showering, preparing dinner, and keeping things organized.
  • You think one step ahead - see what is needed without me having to say it, but also know when to stay in the background.

Who are you?

Experience and CVs are secondary. What matters is who you are. I am looking for someone who takes initiative without running their own race. Who understands that some days are calm (perfect for podcasts and personal time) while others are intense. Who can read when I need help and when I just want to be left alone.

You are discreet - you will have insight into both my private life and work matters. It stays between us.

Nice to have: A driver's license and/or previous experience in assistance work. But not a requirement. Must have: Strong Swedish and that we click as individuals. We will spend a lot of time together, so chemistry is crucial.

Working Hours

About 50% depending on what works best. The working hours are mainly scheduled for weekdays, around 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Schedule is set 2-4 weeks in advance. Sometimes there will be late evenings or travel - but nothing you won't know about in good time. Can be combined with studies or other commitments.

Locations:

Home in Sigtuna, the office in Stockholm, sometimes on the go.

Salary and Employment

Fixed hourly wage according to collective agreement via God Omsorg. Plus overtime, vacation, occupational pension, and reimbursement for expenses. You will receive a secure employment with support from experienced coordinators, wellness allowance, and opportunities for training.

About Me

The job is about leading the development of Omni's platform and building a team where people thrive and do their best. Privately, I live with my fiancée in Sigtuna. I enjoy good series, traveling, smart homes, and hanging out with close friends and family. The current challenge: balancing everything. Work, home, life. With the right person by my side, it becomes possible.

Curious? Reach out, and we can grab a coffee and see if we click. More about me: joina.johnie.se (http://joina.johnie.se) or the interview on Heja Olika (http://hejaolika.se)
