We are looking for a caring, playful, and responsible personal assistant for a happy and active 5-year-old girl in Bromma.

About the Job

You will become an important part of the girl's daily life - someone who creates safety, joy, and structure. She is curious and enjoys movement, play, and presence. She has autism, intellectual disabilities, and epilepsy, which means she needs support in most things, and you as an assistant must be attentive and calm. She does not speak with words but communicates all the time in her own way. If you are perceptive, you will quickly learn to understand her. On weekdays, she attends preschool during the day, so the work is mainly in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

What Do You Do at Work?

No day is exactly the same, but it may involve:

1. playing - indoors and outdoors (playground, trampoline, ball, swing, reading books)
2. assisting with daily tasks such as food, clothing, hygiene, and medication
3. being close, attentive, and creating a calm and safe environment
4. coming up with fun activities that small children enjoy

This is an active job where you truly use both your heart and imagination.

Who Is This Job Suitable For?

This job is suitable for you who:

1. enjoys children and has retained a childlike spirit
2. is calm, responsible, and reliable
3. dare to take initiative and come up with activities
4. has good physical condition (heavy lifting may occur)
5. is smoke- and fragrance-free at work
6. is at least 18 years old and speaks good Swedish

Extra points if you have:

1. worked with children before (preschool, babysitting, au pair, assistance)
2. experience with autism
3. heard of visual support/PECS

But: personality is the most important - the rest can be learned.

Working Hours & Employment

The work mainly takes place in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Examples of times may be weekdays around 3:30 PM - 9:00 PM and weekends around 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM, but exact times are determined in consultation and may vary. Hourly employment with a fixed hourly wage + additional compensation according to industry standards. Some occasional night shifts may occur.

Since the job involves a child, the following is required:

1. extract from the police's criminal record
2. valid ID
