We are looking for a family home secretary to the Assignment Unit. As a family home secretary in the Children and Youth department, you will have a meaningful and challenging job. We perform tasks that make a difference for our children and young people – with us, it’s for real.
A day at work
As a family home secretary in the emergency home group, you are responsible for both recruitment and supervising emergency and family homes. You work closely with social workers and drive cases forward with a child perspective in focus. The position also includes training assignees and holding introductory meetings together with other family home secretaries.
You are responsible for writing contracts and managing financial routines in cases regarding compensation. The target group is children and young people aged 0-20 who are placed in emergency homes and other assignees connected to the unit. Some evening/weekend work may occur, and the possibility of remote work exists 1 day/week. We work in an open office landscape.
The Assignment Unit actively works to develop the operations and create an organization that provides conditions for a good working environment and quality in investigations and support for assignees. We work with participation and quality in a respectful way both within and outside the unit and towards our assignees. The unit consists of 22 employees.
We investigate assignees based on the investigation model "A lasting relationship". Children and youth use the operational system Combine and work with the method Signs of Safety.
Who are you?
With us, you represent the Social Services' Children and Youth towards assignees, clients, citizens, and partners, therefore you possess a broad knowledge of the Social Services' authority and interventions and can make independent assessments in cases. You are flexible and can work at a fast pace.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work
- Experience in authority exercise
- B driver's license
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
Meritorious:
- Experience in family home care and recruitment of emergency, contact, or family homes
- Experience working in Combine
Personal qualities:
- You have a strong commitment to social work
- You possess good social skills and can collaborate internally and externally
- You have a good attitude and provide excellent service to clients, colleagues, and partners
