You will belong to the Personal Support Area, which includes 17 Group and Service Housing and a daily activity.

We offer

In our Group and Service Housing, adults with various disabilities reside. We provide individually tailored support based on the residents' wishes, needs, and possibilities. The operations are based on respect, safety, and participation, grounded in LSS, the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Disabilities. The target groups of the operations require high competence from the staff as the individual needs range from extensive care needs to neuropsychiatric diagnoses with challenging behavior.

Your role

As an employee in Bromma, you are an important part of our work to actively contribute so that the residents feel safe, seen, involved, appreciated, and important. By being curious and attentive to the residents' needs, abilities, and dreams, you create health together with your colleagues and manager. This is fundamental to the salutogenic approach on which our operations are based.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for someone with a support pedagogue education (200 YH credits) or other education that can be deemed equivalent. You have experience working with the target group and also experience working in group housing. You have good knowledge of and experience with individuals with disabilities such as intellectual disabilities and autism. You have experience and knowledge in working with a low-arousal approach. You also have experience working with challenging behavior. It is important that you have good collaboration skills for effective cooperation with users, colleagues, and partners. Being flexible is important in this work. You are secure and stable in your professional role.

To work with us, it is a prerequisite that you have an interest, a willingness, and an ability to meet our residents every day. Since the operation has many contact points and ongoing documentation is part of the work, it is important that you can express yourself well in both speech and writing.

Scheduled working hours are during the day, evenings, and weekends in an operation with sleeping on-call duty.
