We are now looking for a KAA Case Officer for the Labor Market and Integration Unit.

About the Organization

The Labor Market and Integration Unit in Hallsberg municipality is now seeking a KAA Case Officer for our labor market unit. As a KAA Case Officer, you will be responsible for receiving and planning interventions aimed at motivating and supporting children/youth and young adults who have completed or have not started high school studies.

The municipality has an obligation to continuously keep informed about how the youth in the municipality who belong to the target group for activity responsibility are employed. The municipality should offer the youth suitable individual measures. Primarily, the measures should aim for the youth to start or resume education, and secondarily to obtain other employment such as work.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a KAA Case Officer, you will work closely with the schools that our youth are/have been enrolled in. You will focus heavily on motivating and reaching out to the target group to establish action plans with goals and sub-goals, focusing on re-entering studies/internships or work. You will also often need to involve parents and guardians so that together you can provide the necessary support. Your tasks will also include documenting in the operational system and reporting statistics to SCB.

Within the Labor Market and Integration Unit, there is also the municipality's integration work and labor market initiatives for residents, and you will be part of a working group with three employment consultants.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree that the employer assesses as relevant for the position, as well as work experience in the labor market. It is also advantageous if you have experience working with youth and that you find it easy to meet and talk with children and young people. As a person, you are service-oriented, attentive, and you need to be good at finding solutions instead of obstacles. You are both an independent problem solver and someone who finds it easy to collaborate and build new relationships. You are flexible and quick to learn new things. Personal suitability for the position will be assessed. Experience working with young adults is advantageous, as well as an academic background deemed suitable for the assignment. You have a structured working method and the ability to meet people from different backgrounds. Furthermore, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

A manual driving license is required.
