About the Position

We are currently looking for a Financial Manager for a restaurant group in Örebro, who will also serve as operational support to the CEO. The role is central and broad – you will be responsible for the group's finances and payroll management while acting as an important link between management and the restaurants.

In this role, you will replace an external finance function and have significant influence over how financial processes, routines, and working methods are shaped going forward. You will work closely with the CEO and restaurant managers and play a key role in the business. The environment is characterized by a fast pace, short decision-making paths, and a clear operational focus.

Job Responsibilities

As a Financial Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the group's finances and payroll management. Your primary focus will be on accounting, closing, follow-up, and financial control, ensuring quality, structure, and compliance in all financial processes. You will work independently with finances from start to finish and be an important support to the CEO in financial decisions.

In addition to the financial responsibility, the role has a clear operational dimension. As the CEO's right-hand person, you will support daily operations and contribute to implementing decisions in practice. You will collaborate closely with restaurant managers and assist them in administrative and operational matters while following up on routines and working methods in the business. The role also involves project support for new establishments or changes in operations, as well as handling ad hoc tasks when required by the business.

This is a broad and varied role where you combine financial responsibility with active and present operational work – approximately 50/50 – in an environment with a fast pace and short decision-making paths.

Your Role Will Include:

Responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, payments, VAT, and AGI for the group's companies
Conduct payroll runs including OB, sick leave, and vacation (via Caspeco and Fortnox)
Prepare monthly financial statements, group consolidation, and manage eliminations
Follow up on budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
Act as operational support to the CEO and ensure that decisions and routines are followed in the business
Support restaurant managers in administrative matters
Provide project support for new establishments and renovations
Handle ad hoc tasks related to daily operations as needed

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a degree in finance and experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and closing. You are unpretentious, action-oriented, and solution-focused, and you thrive in a role where you work both strategically and operationally. You are confident in your skills, adaptable to changing circumstances, and can communicate clearly and pedagogically with colleagues without a financial background.

Requirements

Degree in finance
Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and closing
Experience with Fortnox
Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
Driver's license (B)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience from an accounting firm
Experience in group accounting
Experience in the restaurant industry and/or work in Caspeco

Other Information

Employment type: Full-time, permanent.
Working hours: Full-time, 8 AM - 5 PM
Start: Immediately, as agreed.
