The Individual and Family Care (IFO) in Krokom is organized into four units: Child and Family Unit, Adult Unit, Open Care Unit, Labor Market and Integration Unit.

The Social Administration consists of 600 employees with a broad range of responsibilities. The administration is divided into five operational areas, with IFO being one of them. The Social Administration is responsible for providing care and support, assistance and services, as well as health and medical care to the municipality's citizens in need, at all stages of life.

A Day as a Social Administrator at IFO

As a social administrator with us, you will play a central role in the administrative work within individual and family care. You will be responsible for independently managing various types of administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth and legally secure functioning of the organization. The work includes parts of payroll administration, invoice management, as well as the preparation of statistics and compilations for various authorities.

You will work with the administration of compensation to foster homes and contact persons, record keeping, and document management. The position also includes some staffing of the social services reception, which means you are an important face to the public and often the first contact for our visitors.

The role requires good structure, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with both colleagues and external actors.

Your Competence

For the role, it is required that you:

  • have a post-secondary education in administration or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.
  • have basic knowledge of Office 365.
  • have experience in invoice management, record keeping, and/or statistics.

It is meritorious if you:

  • have knowledge of the social services' mission.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have achieved personal maturity, have a good ability to build relationships in your work, and can meet individuals in vulnerable situations and crises. You have a well-founded understanding of the importance of individual legal security in contacts with social services and realize what this means in practice.

In the role of social administrator, you need to be adaptable in your work approach based on changing conditions and new information. You take significant personal responsibility for prioritizing and planning your time and tasks effectively. Even if you are alone in your role, you will have a large network, so we see it as important that you have good collaboration skills and high social competence. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Permanent employment at 100%, with immediate start or according to agreement.
