Summer Job as Junior Land Negotiator, Östersund Job Responsibilities

As a Junior Land Negotiator, you will help ensure that Trafikverket gains access to the land needed for our road and railway projects. Currently, we have ongoing projects ranging from small-scale, such as planning and construction of a bus stop, to more complex and extensive projects, such as building several kilometers of road and railway. The main tasks of the position will be to support land negotiators in their daily work within the property law area regarding land access, compensation, and agreements. You will also be responsible for your own tasks. You will work together and collaborate with land negotiators at the Östersund office.

Additional Information

Duration of the summer job: A total of six weeks during the period from June 1 to August 31. The specific weeks will be determined together with the summer employee.

Each summer job is advertised separately. This means you need to apply for each summer job you are interested in. If you meet the requirements, you may be considered for multiple summer jobs and thus contacted by several different managers for interviews.

Qualifications

Who are you?

As a person, you are solution-oriented and have the ability to engage in various tasks and resolve situations that arise. You have good teamwork skills, are committed, and perform your tasks reliably. You are motivated by active participation where you responsibly take charge of your tasks while being mindful of how you are part of and contribute to the whole by collaborating with others.

We are looking for someone who has

  • an ongoing university or college education in surveying with a legal focus or has completed such education in 2024 or later.
  • good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
  • a driver's license for passenger cars
