Hall Prison, located just outside Södertälje, has, in addition to regular units, special units for inmates with particular needs and one of the country's three security units. Approximately 400 employees and 20 managers work at the prison, managing, leading, and developing the operations. The largest professional group is correctional officers, but the prison also employs administrative staff, educators, production leaders, service technicians, and more. The prison accommodates just over 350 inmates who are engaged in activities such as education, treatment programs, other structured activities, or the prison's work operations.

You can reach the prison by bus from Östertälje. If you drive, you can park for free in our staff parking. For those who live far from Södertälje, the prison may provide accommodation for a limited period. JOB DESCRIPTION

As an administrator at the prison's office, you will assist, together with three colleagues, employees and departments within the prison with administrative support. You will be responsible for client documents, drafting sentencing decisions, mail handling, archiving, maintaining the diary, writing protocols, and managing the authority's incoming emails. Other administrative tasks may also occur, such as various orders and financial administration. Your role includes making assessments based on applicable regulations, guidelines, and practices. Contacts and collaboration frequently occur with other staff within both the Swedish Prison and Probation Service and other authorities and organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a person, you find it easy to collaborate with others and are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. You are meticulous, able to see the bigger picture, and consider the broader perspective while planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education in the form of a final certificate or diploma, preferably with a focus on law, economics, administration, or other education deemed suitable by the employer.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in administrative work (relevant experience means within the last 5 years).
• Experience in administration in public operations.
• Ability to express yourself very well in spoken and written Swedish.
• Good IT skills, e.g., good proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in working with finance, diary management, archiving, confidential documents, handling authority emails, and similar.
• Experience in work with legal elements and/or academic qualifications in the legal field.
• Good knowledge of the Administrative Procedure Act.
• Current experience with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's client administrative systems.
