Do you want to take a comprehensive approach to analysis, pricing, and business support within corporate insurance at a Nordic insurance company in transition?

Gjensidige is now looking for a Senior Corporate Analyst / Senior Pricing Actuary (Corporate) for its Swedish headquarters. The role is suitable for you who want to work broadly, close to the business, and in a dynamic environment where you have significant responsibility, influence, and the opportunity to structure a complex and important corporate portfolio.

The Role of Senior Corporate Analyst

In the role of Senior Corporate Analyst, you have overall analytical responsibility for the pricing of Gjensidige's corporate portfolio. You work closely with the sales organization, underwriting, and management, serving as a key person in matters related to pricing, profitability, and business decisions.

The role is both strategic and operational. You work hands-on with analysis while driving the development of structures, workflows, and analysis processes in an environment where not all answers are always found in the data. You become an important counterpart to sales and underwriting, contributing fact-based perspectives in a business that has historically been largely driven by good experience.

You will be part of an analyst team that currently consists of three people plus a manager, where you are expected to take a senior role and contribute to both direction and quality.

Your main responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for pricing and structural improvements within Gjensidige's corporate portfolio.

  • Business-oriented support to underwriters in daily decision-making.

  • Translating data into business insights and clear recommendations.

  • Driving structural work within the corporate portfolio in preparation for and during the upcoming system change.

  • Mapping and organizing products, tariffs, and analysis materials.

  • Building and further developing analysis models, data processes, and follow-up structures.

  • Acting as the analytical voice in the organization and standing by your conclusions.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally within the company and building trust in the organization.

Your background, experience, and skills

We are looking for someone who is confident in their analytical abilities and enjoys a role with significant responsibility and a high degree of influence. You are structured, persistent, and communicative, and you find it easy to combine data, business understanding, and relationships.

We see that you have:

  • Experience in analysis within corporate insurance, underwriting, or related business areas.

  • Familiarity with working on pricing, portfolio analysis, and profitability monitoring.

  • Good understanding of data analysis and experience working with large datasets.

  • Some experience with data processing using SQL or Python.

  • Ability to work in environments where the structure is not established and where you can create it yourself.

  • Strong analytical integrity and the courage to challenge established practices.

  • Good social skills and experience collaborating closely with the business.

It is a plus if you have:

  • Experience in both quantitative analysis and underwriting.

  • Worked in smaller or medium-sized organizations with limited data maturity.

  • Participated in larger change or system projects.
