Are you looking for a fun and stimulating summer job, or are you searching for meaningful work where you have the opportunity to make a difference in people's everyday lives? We are now looking for you who want to work as support assistants in our group homes within Värmdö municipality.

We are looking for you who want to work as support assistants in our group homes in Gustavsberg's harbor and in Hemmesta center. You can easily and conveniently commute to our operations from Slussen in about 30 minutes, with a direct bus that runs every ten minutes.

Your mission

In a group home, no day is the same; as a support assistant, you are offered a stimulating and varied job. Your tasks include motivating and supporting individuals in their daily lives, with morning routines, leisure activities, and much more. We always work with the goal of increasing independence, strengthening individual resources, and offering tailored support. Your task will be to support and help individuals with various functional variations, comorbidity, and/or mental health issues.

We primarily wish for staff during the summer holiday period, specifically between weeks 26 to 33.

Your experience

You have a genuine interest in working with people and are educated or in training as a mental health worker, nursing assistant, nurse, social pedagogue, social worker, or have other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent. However, you should have experience working in daily activities, group homes within LSS, or social psychiatry. Experience with AAC; alternative and augmentative communication is an asset, as is knowledge and experience with low-arousal approaches and MI.
