In this role, you will work in an international environment where the business language is English, and you will be responsible for financial reporting and follow-up for a complex portfolio.

About the role

As a Financial Controller, you have a qualified responsibility within accounting and reporting. You work independently with monthly closings, advanced analyses, and financial reporting packages while ensuring that the accounting follows current routines and principles. The role is both operational and analytical, focusing on accuracy, structure, and timely delivery.

You handle large amounts of data in Excel and frequently use pivot tables and advanced functions to analyze and quality assure financial information. You work in several different systems and have an interest in processes, system support, and the streamlining of financial flows.

Main responsibilities

• Independently manage monthly closings
• Ensure accurate and quality-assured accounting and accounts receivable
• Analyze income statements and balance sheets and follow up on deviations
• Prepare and quality assure financial reports
• Support management and internal stakeholders through analyses, reconciliations, and advice on accounting and reporting issues
• Work with the follow-up of financial key figures and central performance measures
• Identify areas for improvement and contribute to more efficient processes

Qualifications

• Academic education in finance, accounting, or a relevant field
• Documented experience and deep understanding of qualified accounting and financial reporting, with a background as a Financial Controller, accounting economist, or similar
• Excellent skills in Excel and pivot tables, as well as the ability to analyze and manage extensive datasets, along with good knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Deep knowledge of accounting and cash flow management
• Very good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written

Furthermore, you are curious, system-oriented, and have good organizational skills. You also possess strong communication skills and can convey financial information clearly and pedagogically. You are motivated to work in an international organization with a fast pace and appreciate working closely with the business.
