Welcome to Närhälsan Sylte Health Center.

Here, 21 dedicated employees work in various professional categories such as doctors, district nurses, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. Currently, we have 5700 registered individuals of various ages with us, and together we work to best meet our patients' needs. In addition to the unit for Young People's Mental Health (UPH) and regular health center services, we also have a doctor's office, nurse-led specialist clinics, and child health services (BVC).

About the Job

Young People's Mental Health (UPH) is tasked with providing children, adolescents, and their guardians with mental health issues an early and adequate response. As a psychologist, you will work closely with other primary care staff. You will assess, diagnose, and treat children and adolescents with mental health issues and psychosocial factors, and based on that, suggest and implement appropriate interventions.

You will collaborate with other actors, such as schools and social services, where you will also participate in SIP meetings. Treatment interventions for depression, anxiety, and self-harm behaviors, as well as counseling, support, and crisis conversations, are part of your role. You will be an important contact for parental support both individually and in groups and will also conduct other group treatments such as anxiety management, AFFEKT, and ABC. There is also the possibility to perform part of the work remotely.

We work based on primary care-oriented methods, where the work includes high accessibility, stepwise/stratified care, and collaboration with other professionals and care neighbors. It is important that you have an interest in working in primary care, which means prioritizing high accessibility for all residents with mental and behavioral health issues. Interventions range from psychoeducation and advice on self-care to guided treatment with literature or internet treatment, to group treatment or individual therapeutic interventions. To meet the needs of the entire patient population, the ability to vary methods and the extent of treatment interventions is required.

About You

You are a licensed psychologist with at least one year of clinical experience working with children and adolescents with mental health issues. It is advantageous if you have experience in the following areas:

• CBT step 1 competence
• Work as a psychologist at the primary care level
• Stepwise/stratified care
• Internet-based psychological treatment
• Group treatment

We are looking for someone who is attentive and accommodating, with good communication skills and the ability to identify individuals' unique needs. Through initiative and active engagement, you want to participate in the development work of the organization and contribute as a consultative resource in the daily interdisciplinary collaboration at the health center.

Travel in the service may occur, a B driver's license is required. Interviews at the health center will be held continuously.

About the Recruitment Process

The selection process takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite relevant candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
