Description

The hearing services operate throughout the Västra Götaland Region and provide support and treatment to individuals with permanent hearing loss, deafness, and deafblindness of all ages.

We conduct hearing rehabilitation at Södra Gubberogatan in Gothenburg and also have a hearing aid clinic at this address where we accept patients on a drop-in basis.

We are now looking for a licensed audiologist for our Audiology Clinic with primary placement in Gothenburg. The position also includes work at our hearing aid clinic and collaboration on-site with ENT.

Responsibilities

As an audiologist in our unit, you will work with audiological diagnostics, rehabilitation of adults, service at our hearing aid clinic, student supervision, and collaboration with ENT, user organizations, as well as colleges and universities.

The measures are based on a holistic view where the audiologist collaborates with other professional categories with the patient/relatives.

Responsibilities may change with future digitalization, and you should be interested in digital development.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed audiologist. We are looking for someone with an interest in clinical work with hearing diagnostics and rehabilitation as well as service. Great emphasis is placed on qualities such as flexibility, initiative, and good collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and in a team. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with Auditbase, NOAH, and Melior. We also prefer candidates who have completed supervisor training and/or have experience supervising during practical training. It is important that the person we are looking for fits into the workgroup.
