Apply for a summer job with us in the Social Welfare Sector of Lidköping Municipality! If you work at least 8 weeks in a row during the period from June 1 to August 23, you will receive a bonus of 5,000 SEK!

Job Responsibilities

The work within our various operational areas differs. As a summer substitute with us, you will meet people with different needs for support and care. Common to all operations is that the work is based on the individual’s needs with a focus on meeting each person with respect. Working hours vary, including days, evenings, and weekends, and within certain units, there may be sleeping on-call or awake night shifts.

Our areas within the Social Welfare Sector are:

• Functional Support
• Home Support
• Special Housing

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who wants a meaningful summer job and wants to work with people who need you. You can have previous experience in care and support or be completely new to the field.

• Experience and education in the field are merits but not a requirement.
• If you have completed or ongoing studies, these grades/diplomas should be attached to your application.
• You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You must have the right to work in Sweden.
• As we work with people, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other Information

• Working hours vary between days, evenings, and weekends. Some units also have night and round-the-clock shifts.
• A B driver's license is required to work in certain operations.
• Bicycle experience is required to work in certain operations.
• To work in the area of Functional Support, you must present a certificate from the criminal record register before employment.
