The Health and Care Administration, with approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in the city of Mölndal and encompasses elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health care.

The Social Psychiatry Authority is now seeking a new employee. The unit consists of eight social workers, one senior social worker, and a unit manager. The unit is organized into a reception team and a follow-up team. The unit's mission is to exercise authority according to SoL and LSS regarding the target group of adults with mental disabilities. The unit has high competence and great drive and commitment to the mission. As an employee in the unit, you have access to both method supervision and process supervision, as well as other professional development. The leadership is based on trust, with a focus on participation and each employee's ability to contribute to the positive development of the work in the unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an employee who can independently carry out authority exercises according to applicable legislation, guidelines, and routines. The position involves processing applications/requests according to SoL and/or LSS. The work includes informing, investigating, assessing, making decisions, and following up on interventions. You work to ensure legal certainty for the individual, and the work also involves promoting the development of the individual's independence.

The role includes collaboration with both internal and external parties. You will also contribute to and participate in the development of the operations. If necessary, it includes presenting cases in the individual committee.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a social worker or has an equivalent degree with experience in the target group of social psychiatry and disabilities. We consider it an advantage if you have worked with authority exercises and IBIC.

You easily adapt your work approach based on changing conditions. You can quickly change your perspective and attitude and see opportunities in changes. Additionally, you have the ability to be attentive and listen to others in order to understand their perspectives/needs, and you actively seek out others' opinions and perspectives and are receptive to them. You view failures as learning opportunities and create space for dialogue.

For the position, you need to be able to work effectively under stress, balance different demands, and remain calm in difficult situations. You distinguish between the matter and the person and can make well-founded decisions under time pressure.

You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form and a B driver's license.
