We are now looking for a housing supporter to join our team at Lokevägen in Upplands Väsby. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The position is part-time at about 80%.

About Lokevägen group home. Lokevägen is a group home within social psychiatry that has 15 places and staff around the clock. The group home is located in Odenslunda in Upplands Väsby, close to nature areas, public transport, and Väsby center.

The operation is run as a residence with special services according to SoL 26.1.2 (SoL 7.1.2). The operation is aimed at individuals with mental disabilities combined with comorbidity, who need a special residence. Clients may exhibit varying needs for support and care, but the ambition of the operation is that all residents, based on their own needs and conditions, receive some form of activity or employment outside the supported housing.

About the role

In the role of housing supporter, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and rich in content. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.

You will have a group leader or group manager close by who works part of their time in the operation. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.

You have a positive mindset, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our users' best interests in mind in everything you do.
