We are now looking for two housing support workers to join our team at Östervik Group Home. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The positions include one full-time and one part-time role at 100% and approximately 85% respectively.

About the residence Östervik is located at the entrance to Stockholm, a picturesque archipelago about 15 minutes from Slussen. The unit houses 6 individuals, target group 1, 9 § 9 LSS. Here, they live in their own apartments with nice common areas and access to a patio and beautiful nature. Pleasant staff facilities including offices, kitchen, and on-call room.

About the role As a housing support worker, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical perspective. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
