Job Description

We are now looking for a Business Controller who wants to drive AFRY's journey towards stronger financial governance and data-driven decisions. Do you have experience in developing reporting structures and driving change in a dynamic environment? This could be your next challenge!

As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for the overall financial analysis and reporting of AFRY's Real Estate portfolio. The role involves working closely with the head of Real Estate and helping to build the unit and its reporting structures, including enabling data-driven analysis and follow-up. You will play a key role in our projects to streamline and improve our cost efficiency related to Real Estate.

Your role includes further developing follow-up systems and collaboration models between accounting and controlling, as well as being a driving and supportive link to AFRY's operational controllers.

As a Business Controller at AFRY, you will play a key role in establishing and developing global tools for analysis and follow-up of results. You will have an active role in processes such as Annual Target, Long term plan, rolling forecasts, and development of BI systems including reports within PowerBI. Furthermore, you will support the business by analyzing results, creating management reports, and developing existing global reports for the organization.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have strong strategic capabilities and experience working in a publicly listed environment. You are analytical, meticulous, solution-oriented, and can simplify complex structures to enhance business value.

You have experience in developing and leading financial processes in a corporate structure. We would like you to have worked with the transformation of financial and operational data and be comfortable driving the journey to increase the organization's data-driven capabilities. You also have the ability to visualize insightful data/analysis and streamline financial planning processes into data-driven automated predictions. Driving development and improvement work is part of our everyday life.

You enjoy working together in teams with competent and inspiring colleagues. Since the role involves a lot of collaboration and leadership of colleagues, your communication and relationship-building skills are crucial. In this role, you will have contact with various parts of the organization and colleagues in over 50 countries, so you need to have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You have a strong business interest, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and have the ability to create structure and clear follow-up routines for the organization.
